The West Geauga Boys Soccer team opened their 2025 season with a convincing 5-1 home victory over Geneva.

Senior Ben Mackin opened the scoring with two first half goals to put the Wolverines in front 2-0. Jordan Green and Evan Brencic added goals before the half to make it 4-1 at the intermission.

Adrian Yutzy added a second half goal for the Wolverines to make it 5-1.

Brencic, Yutzy, Green and Jack Ackworth each added an assist in the win.

Senior keeper Mason Mobley notched four saves.

West Geauga will travel to Beachwood on Tuesday, August 19 to take on the Bison. JV is set to start at 5 with varsity to follow.
