The West Geauga Girls Soccer team picked up their second straight victory with a 7-1 decision over visiting Madison on Saturday afternoon.

The Wolverines opened the scoring four minutes into the game when Adison Cook connected with Faelyn Beckrest to make it 1-0. Five minutes later Cook found Cara Borz who put a shot in the back of the net to make it 2-0.

Beckrest added her second goal of the game with 11 minutes remaining in the first half on a pass from Clara Horrigan. Lexi Bryan closed out the first half scoring on a pass from Emily Fousek to make it 4-0 at the break.

Borz added her second goal of the game early in the second half and Brooklyn Osolin and Horrian each tallied scores for the Wolverines.

The Wolverines defense limited Madison to just two shots on the afternoon.

West Geauga will travel to Shaker Heights on Monday to finish their game that was suspended last week. The Wolverines hold a 3-0 lead with 8:13 to play in the first half.
