The West Geauga Boys & Girls Track & Field teams will be well represented on Wednesday at the Division I Regional Track & Field meet hosted by Austintown Fitch High School.

On the girls side, Maggie Furst (Discus), Megan McGinnis (100H), and Shannon Swinnerton (300H) all qualified to move on from Districts to the Regional meet.

The relay team of Holly Hamilton, Grace Laster, Skye Hackathorn and Swinnerton advanced in the 4x400.

The boys program will be presented by Matt Dienes (1600m), Grant Congdon (800m), and Danny Kearns (3200m). Kearns set a school-record in the 3200m with a time of 9:37.50.

The 4x800 group of Congdon, Whiting, Dienes and Kearns also qualified.
