The West Geauga Girls Soccer team cruised to a 7-2 win at home over Mayfield on Wednesday night behind a five-goal performance from senior Frankee Flesher.
Flesher started the scoring four minutes into the game by finishing a pass from Megan McGinnis to make it 1-0. Ten minutes later, Flesher returned the favor and found McGinnis who finished to make it 2-0.
McGinnis picked up her second goal of the game off a Courtney Whiting assist to make it 3-0 at the intermission.
Flesher started the scoring early in the second half, this time off a pass from Holly Jeunnette to make it 4-0. She added her next two goals on passes from McGinnis and Whiting to make it 6-0 and capped the scoring in the 68th minute.
Senior goalkeeper Ashyln Drayer stopped seven of the nine shots she faced.
The Wolverines will travel to Shaker on Monday, August 22.
