The West Geauga Boys Soccer team scored early and often in a 9-0 win over visiting Perry on Tuesday evening at Howell Field.

The Wolverines started the scoring just two minutes into the game on a Frankie Sassano goal on a pass from Martin Medancic. One minute later, Sassano connected with AJ Harmon to make it 2-0.

Owen Puletti added back-to-back goals a minute apart on assists from Ben Mackin and Sassano to extend the lead to 4-0.

Alex Schaffer, Harmon and Sassano each added goals in the first half to give the Wolverines a 7-0 lead at the intermission.

Medancic and Nick Switzer scored in the second half for the final two goals of the game for the Wolverines.

The defense of the Wolverines limited Perry to just one shot on goal while West Geauga attempted 14 shots.

The Wolverines improve to 2-2 on the season and will travel to Lake Catholic on Thursday.
