The West Geauga boys soccer team earned a 2-1 win on the road over NDCL on Tuesday night to open their season after being rained out at Geneva last Friday.

The Wolverines got a pair of first half goals from Ben Mackin and Alex Schaffer to take a 2-0 lead until the final minute of the game before the Lions scored.

West Geauga goalkeeper Mason Mobley made nine saves in the victory.

The Wolverines will host Beachwood on Saturday. JV will begin at 1pm with Varsity to follow at 3pm.
